1st Annual Conference

Last year's conference (September 29, 2001) attracted almost 200 participants to Valley Children's Hospital north of Fresno!

Join CHIA & the Central Valley Chapter for a full day of workshops and presentations on September 29, 2001, at 
Valley Children's Hospital, 9300 Valley Children's Place in Madera County, 93638-8762!  
(This is just north of Fresno)  
Sessions for interpreters, providers, administrators and language access advocates!
Conference Theme: the Emerging Healthcare Interpreter Profession. 
Keynote Speakers include:  Cindy Roat, Co-Chair, National Council for Interpretation in Health Care, and Holly Mikkelson, Monterey Institute for International Studies.

This was a fabulous conference with almost 200 participants!!
The 2002 conference will be held in Los Angeles, September, 27, 2002!

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received in writing by September 15, 2001, are subject to a $10 fee.  After September 15, substitutions are allowed, but no refunds will be provided.  No-shows will be billed the full registration fee.
