About 150 or so people from across California & as far as Phoenix, came to Mt. San Antonio College for a day of seminars & workshops on Saturday, September 28, 2002.

CHIA's 2003 conference will be in Sacramento!
CHIA's 2nd Annual conference was co-sponsored by the Healthcare Interpreter
Training Program of Mt. San Antonio College, together with L.A. Care Health Plan,
the Cultural & Linguistic Access Program of Vista Community Clinic,
and the
Refugee Health Section of
California Department of Health Services.
CHIA released the new CHIA "California
Standards for Healthcare Interpreters" and presented
a full day of workshops and
presentations targeting
interpreters,
educators, trainers, providers and administrators
on Saturday, September 28, 2002,
at:
