CHIA's Sponsors!

The Board and Staff of CHIA are deeply grateful to all of CHIA's sponsors and contributors.  Without these organizations and individuals CHIA would not exist!

The California Endowment Corporate Members
Founding Organizations Contributors

Many thanks to The California Endowment for their generous support to CHIA (2000-2002) for infrastructure development and the creation of  Standards of Practice and a Certification Process for California health-care interpreters.  The California Endowment's grant to CHIA is part of the foundation's commitment to Workforce Diversity and Cultural and Linguistic Competency in Health.

The California Endowment is the state's largest health foundation and was established in May 1996.  The Endowment has offices in Los Angeles, San Diego, Fresno, San Francisco and Sacramento, and has staff working throughout the state.  Its mission is to expand access to affordable, quality health care for underserved individuals and communities, and to promote fundamental improvements in the health status of all Californians.

The Endowment makes grants to organizations and institutions that directly benefit the health and well-being of the people of California.
